Cody McCloud
Cody was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, so he is basically a unicorn! Heavily influenced by his favorite cartoons (Looney Tunes, Disney, and Hanna-Barbera classics), he started to learn more about the voices behind his favorite characters. Mel Blanc and Wayne Alwine became his heroes and he began imitating character voices, radio commercials, and celebrities.
Cody’s parents encouraged him to explore his passion, introducing him to new recordings and sounds through classic rock. Cody took up the guitar and began writing and singing music, as well. He played lead guitar in several popular Nashville bands while working at Gibson Guitar as a Quality Control Lead. Cody continued developing his skills as an avid Dungeons and Dragons player, creating dozens of unique and engaging character voices!
Through his life, Cody has been an avid cinephile and enjoys “deconstructing” the shots, soundtracks, and actors that make up impactful experiences. After getting his own camera, he began creating videos, developing his skills and learning about photography along the way, as well. He began working with local businesses to help them upgrade their visual brand and reach their audience with engaging content.
Today, Cody is excited to be growing his career in media, helping small businesses and dreams of one day being the voice of Mickey Mouse.
Project Management
To get the most out of your shoot, you need to plan ahead. Cody handles the creative, logistics, and timeframes of the project, allowing you to focus on looking and feeling your best on camera!
Video Production
Cody brings necessary equipment to his shoots, including cameras, microphones, and basic lighting. We recommend shooting on-site at your office or home (where you are comfortable), or can recommend a place for you to rent for recording.
Services
His services include project direction and production in video, photography, and voice over, most often for small businesses. Cody also provides voice over projects for narration, commercials, radio, audiobooks, and character voices.
Cody is also an experienced commercial model, offering a relatable image and voice to professional brand marketing.
Voice Over Projects
Cody records voice over for his video production, and custom projects, in a fully soundproofed recording booth, located in his home in Nashville. He uses an sE2200 Condenser Mic into a Scarlet 2i2 interface, editing on TwistedWave. All his recordings include full editing for optimal sound and edit rounds to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
